Thomas Loomes (1732 - 1782)
Herein I
give and bequeath unto my said daughter Mary Loomes the sum of one hundred
pounds of Lawfull Money of Great Britain
to be paid to her within the term of twelve months next after my decease.
Herein also I give and bequeath unto my said daughter Mary Loomes the further
sum of one hundred pounds of Lawfull money
of Great Britain
to be paid to her within the term of five years next after my decease. Herein
all those my household goods and household stuff and furniture of all sorts and
kinds and all implements of household
whatsoever. I give and bequeath the same
unto my said wife Sarah Loomes and to my said son Thomas Loomes and to my said
daughter Mary Loomes to be divided and parted amongst them in even and equal
portions each share and share alike all the rest, residue and remainder of my
personal estate, crop of grain, stock of cattle of all sorts and kinds and all
implements of husbandary, goods chattels and effects whatsoever and wheresoever
and of whatnature , kind and sortsoever and all rights and credits after the
payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I give and bequeath to my said
son Thomas Loomes chargeable nevertheless of all deficiencies of the Annuity
and yearly rent charge herein before given to my wife Sarah Loomes if any such
shall happen to be. And lastly I do
hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my said son Thomas Loomes my sole
executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all
former Wills and Wills by me at any time heretofore and be confirming and
declaring this and no other be my Last Will and Testament in witness thereof of
the said Thomas Loomes the Testator have do this my last Will and Testament
contained in two sheets of paper to each sheet thereof set my hand and seal
this Seventeenth day of December in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Seven
Hundred and Eighty One.
